Scheduling Interviews
An interview is an opportunity for you to ask questions and learn more about Syracuse University in a personal setting. It is also a great way to help us learn more about your educational and personal experiences, goals and interests.
Interviews are available from July through early December using Zoom. They typically last about 30 minutes and will be considered in our application review process. All interviews for Fall 2025 applicants will be conducted virtually; no interviews will be conducted in person on Syracuse University’s campus.
We highly recommend students participate in a campus visit or virtual information session before scheduling a personal interview. Students may only participate in one interview.
Please note that interviews are not required for admission to Syracuse University. However, due to interest, interviews often fill up well in advance. If you are interested in conducting an interview, it is recommended that you do not wait to register.
Prospective First-Year Students
Please note, interviews are for high school seniors. Interviews are conducted by admissions representatives including staff and current students. Register for a virtual interview using the button below and selecting your desired date and time.
Prospective International Students
Meet with a member of the International Team from the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. Register for a virtual interview using the button below and selecting your desired date and time.
Note: These interviews are only for international students or domestic citizens studying abroad. Please do not register if you are a U.S. citizen living in the United States.
Prospective Transfer Students
Meet with a member of the Transfer Team from the Office of Admissions. Submit a request by emailing transfertosu@qyygsl.com. We look forward to meeting you.
